FAQs

This is our first ever Prost! event so we know there are going to be some questions.  We hope these help.

Do I need a ticket to attend the event?
No.  Beer and food items will be offered al a carte and you can take the tour on your own.  A guide will be posted closer to the event.  This is a self-guided tour through Historic Downtown Maplewood.  You must be 21 years of age or older to participate in this event.

What does the VIP Punch Card get me?

The VIP Punch Card gets you a souvenir tasting cup and 12 beer tastings of your choice for $15.

I bought a VIP Punch Card where do I pick it up?
The St. Louis Brewers Guild staff are setting up a booth at the Schlafly Bottleworks, 7260 Southwest, Maplewood, MO 63143.  They will have your VIP Punch Card, souvenir tasting cup and an event guide waiting for you beginning at 11:45 AM the day of the event.

How does the VIP Punch Card work?
Present your VIP Punch Card and your souvenir tasting cup at the host locations of your choice.  The host will stamp your card and pour you a tasting. You must have the card and cup with you at each stop.  You get 12 tastings for 15.

Where is the event held?
The event will be on the sidewalk throughout Historic Downtown Maplewood. It is self-guided and requires walking.  We estimate the entire stretch of the event to be under 1/2 mile.

What if it rains?
If it rains, we will move the brewers inside at their host locations.  Bring an umbrella, pretend you are in Portland and enjoy all of the great beer we will have for you.

What if I want to take a break from drinking beer?
Many of our shops are having open houses and the Contemporary Art Museum's Open Studios event is also occurring that day so will have some artists in town.  We will post a guide of fun things to do in Historic Downtown Maplewood while you are on a beer break.  Also, you can grab lunch at many of our dining establishments.

Can I bring my dog?
We know this is going to be difficult, we had this conversation with our dog and it didn't go well.  We love dogs and even though most of the event will be outside and we are praying for delightful weather, we don't recommend bringing the dog.  You may want to pop into one of our shops or stop for a bite and the health department doesn't permit dogs in many of our establishments.
